Spreading the Love for Jesus throughout the World. By supporting missions in the United States and the world, we help show the love of Christ by example. We help support several missions in other countries and local areas by giving much needed food, money, and supplies. Included in this giving are our prayer warriors who are offering prayers for the continued support of others. Throughout the year we invite our mission groups to come share with us and invite you to join us.
Local Backpack Program
HELPING COMMUNITY IS A GOAL WE HAVE SET
Every week the people of Bethel Wesleyan Church, gives their food donations and time to the Backpack Program in Henderson County servicing 2 elementary schools.
The Backpack Program has been helping the offspring of Henderson County Public Schools for more than 5 years, serving between 135 to more than 200 kids every week during the school year.
Children with no means of getting a meal during the weekend are given the Sacks of food for them to take home to keep their bellies full, and not have to go hungry until the next school day.
We take pride in helping these schools and kids when they need it.
At Bethel Wesleyan, we celebrate community by hosting outreach events. We invite people to join us in celebrating the love of Jesus Christ through events held at the church.
These events include Vacation Bible School and a Fall Festival. We also sponsor blood drives, yard sales and local craft fairs. We hope you will join us!
